We also offer two sessions of summer school from June 25 through August 24th . Registration for fall and summer runs February 19th through March 2nd. All program include full time and part time schedules. Saint Andrew’s follows the San Bruno Parks School District Calendar as close as possible, except for minimum days.
Tuition: Tuition is paid in ten equal payments. The first tuition payment (non-refundable) is due on June 1st 2018, or at time of registration if this occurs after June 1st. This payment will be held and used for the month of June 2019. The rest of the payments will be paid on the first of each month from September 2018 through May 2019. There is a $20.00 service charge on balances owing after the fifth day of each month. We accept checks or money orders for payment. We prefer automatic payments, which are processed on the fifth of each month. A $20.00 service charged will be assessed for returned checks and ACH payments. If more than one person is responsible for tuition, each person is responsible for all amounts due.
Registration & Summer Fee: There is a $100.00 registration fee (non-refundable) for fall registration and a $30.00 registration fee (non-refundable) for summer. New students will pay a $55.00 registration fee (non-refundable) for summer session. Summer fees will be paid according to each session that child is attending.
Sibling Discount: Discounts of 15% are offered to siblings of current students and members of Saint Andrew’s Church.
Schedule Changes: All schedule changes must be submitted in writing. For extra hours, there is a $10.00 per hour charge. The director must approve all schedule changes. Parents will fill out a schedule change form. A $25.00 processing fee will be charged for schedule adjustments once you have accepted the class schedule for the year. If a second schedule change occurs, a $50.00 processing fee will be due.
Absences: Parents should call the school if the child is absent, and state the reason they will be absent. There are no refund, credit or make up day for your child missing school.
Withdrawal: It is understood that students are enrolled for the entire academic school year. If you need to leave before March 1st, we require a 30 day written notice and your last month tuition payment will be applied. After March 1st , June’s tuition will not be refunded to your final month. Please see attached Registration Policy.
Late pickup: Saint Andrew’s Preschool is open from 7:30am-6:00pm. We close at 6:00pm, so please call if you are going to be late. A late pick up fee of $1.00 per minute charge if your child is left beyond their registered dismissal time of 12:05pm, 1:05pm, 3:05pm, and 6:01pm. This will be added to your monthly statement. The official time is recorded on the tablet that you sign in and out on.
Optional Services: Saint Andrew’s Preschool offers Palersize Mobile Kids Fitness Adventures. Melanie Joy Marani, (Pal Mel), runs this and payments are made directly to her.
Security: Each family has a code that will let them in the front door. Each family member that drops off and picks up has a code to sign that child in or out. Please use the tablet that is in the office. Make sure your child is dropped off with a teacher, and never left alone in the hallway. Children will only be released to the people on the Emergency Information form. All information (address, phone, custody, medical, etc.) must be updated using our Information change form.
Parking Lot: Please use caution in parking lot. Children should never run free in the parking lot. Children should never be left unattended in the car. Children should hold an adult hand when leaving the school and walking in the parking lot. Please do not park in front of the school doors. Always park in a designated parking space.
Classes: Classes start at 9:00am. Please have your child here on time. Please arrive 15 minutes earlier if your child has a hard time at transition at 9:00am.
Illness: Children must stay home if they have any of these symptoms: fever of 100 degrees, runny nose that is green, cough with mucus secretion, rash or skin infection, discharge from eyes, and diarrhea. If a child gets sick at school, you will be called and asked to pick them up as soon as possible.
Medication: The staff will administer medication with written instructions from your child’s doctor. Please bring medication in its original container. Medication forms must be filled out completely and correctly before medication will be given. Medication should be given to early care teachers or director to be locked away or put inside the refrigerator if necessary. Children must not bring medication in their lunch boxes.
Licensing: Licensing has the authority to interview children or staff without prior consent. Saint Andrew’s shall ensure that provisions are made for private interviews with any children or staff members. The Department has the authority to inspect, audit, and copy child or child care center records upon demand during normal business hours. Saint Andrew’s shall ensure that provisions are made for the examination of all records relating to the operation of the childcare center.
Parent Hand Book: All families will receive a copy of our Parent Hand Book at time of registration. The parent handbook will go into further details about our program goals, and daily operations. A signed form will be returned to the center to ensure that it was received and reviewed. All families will receive a sign copy of this Admission Agreement too.
